Intellectus is the African Journal of Philosophy that focuses on understanding philosophy with the perspective of its practical applications to issues in Africa and/or African heritage. Intellectus is an open access peer-reviewed online journal that publishes research articles, book reviews and interviews on African philosophy, black studies, and applied philosophy (in ethics, epistemology, and metaphysics) and feminism, international law, public policy, and socio-political philosophy in their relevance to the African continent.
Additionally, Intellectus doubles as an academic journal and a platform for professional mentoring of philosophy students across Africa. By publishing with Intellectus, you are as well contributing positively to the lives of these growing philosophers in Africa. Please visit the Intellectus Mentoring (InteM) webpage for more information.
